So I had a connecting flight out of LAX today. In spite of the airplanes being part of some happy global alliance that did not stop me from having to walk out of the wing, half way across the airport, back through security, and take a bus to some random location from there.

Of course as I experienced the global alliance treatment I wondered if it meant my bags would follow on that journey, and of course, it was the airlines did not deliver my baggage with me.

Here I sit with no deoderant or toothbrush debating some of my travel game plan / travel strategy.

If it takes you over an hour to get to your next plane there is a good chance your bags will not make it on time. Be forwarned if you switch airline carriers at LAX!
