Pat's website looks like rubbish, IMHO (especially since no self respecting website should use a marquee tag and they use like 3 or 4 of them on the home page).

They are down to earth with their marketing though. It is basically "yup we are the best and we don't even really need to market it". They have been doing cheesesteaks since 1930.

Geno's website is not great, but is better than Pat's.

Geno's building is cheesy I am in your face type marketing. Neon lights and all that jazz. I guess they had to do a lot to try to catch up, because they started in 1966, and when I visited Pat's still had a much longer line.

I got to eat at Pat's yesterday, and it was good :)

You would not believe how much Cheese Whiz they go through there. If I had to guess it would be measured in hundreds of pounds per day.
